The camera pans out, and we see Saul chained to the wall, a nasty bruise enveloping his left eye.

“All in all, a shitty way to spend the 50th page of Atroxity,” he says.

Okay, so maybe he didn’t say that. But regardless, today’s page marks the 50th Atroxity page that we’ve released into the wild (not counting all-text title pages and the like). We’ve seen the project launch and then wobble awkwardly out into the world, and now we’re firmly past the introduction and well into the meat of the story. As the guy who initially dreamed all of this up, I couldn’t be more proud to see our little project growing up.

That said, I just know that Atroxity’s teenage years are going to be brutal.

But still: fifty pages down, and we can’t wait to share the next fifty. Thanks for reading, and we’ll see you there!

On an unrelated note, Wizard World Portland was a lot of fun this past weekend, and we met tons of cool people making cool things. I fully plan on writing up some sort of con summary within the next few days, but the bottom line is it’s invigorating to be a part of such a creative community, and I look forward to digging into the comics I managed to discover in between the bright lights, pounding music, and neverending cosplay parade.

I think we’re going to get a booth for the next one.
